Real Level Up ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Real Level Up mobile application — a 100 Day Level Up Challenge tracker for iOS.

By using the App you agree to the data practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

How We Use Your Information

• Sync your 100-day challenge progress across devices and app sessions
• Display your historical timeline of completed days
• Store and display your daily progress photos
• Send motivational push notifications (only if you grant permission and enable reminders)
• Diagnose crashes and fix bugs via anonymous crash reports
• Understand feature usage via anonymous analytics to improve the app
• Respond to support requests you initiate

Data Storage & Security

• Cloud Infrastructure: All app data is stored on Google Firebase (Firestore database + Cloud Storage) with encryption at rest and in transit.
• Authentication: We use Firebase Authentication with secure token-based sessions. Passwords are never stored in plain text.
• Access Controls: Firestore Security Rules enforce strict per-user data isolation — your data can only be accessed by your authenticated account.
• Photos: Progress photos are stored in Firebase Cloud Storage under your unique user ID folder, accessible only to your account.
• Encryption in Transit: All communication between the app and our servers uses TLS/SSL encryption.

We use the following trusted services to operate the app. Each has its own privacy policy:

Push Notifications

The App may request permission to send you push notifications. Specifically:

• Daily Reminders: Scheduled motivational notifications at times you choose in the app settings.
• App Announcements: Occasional updates from the Real Level Up team, sent only when relevant.

You can deny notification permission when first prompted by iOS. If already granted, you can revoke it at any time via Settings → Notifications → Real Level Up on your device.

Children's Privacy

The Real Level Up app is rated 4+ on the App Store and is appropriate for all ages. However, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 beyond what is strictly necessary to provide the challenge tracking service.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has created an account without your consent, please contact us at support@reallevelup.app and we will promptly delete their data.

Your Rights & Choices

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Update inaccurate information via the app or by contacting us.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and all associated data. We will process this within 30 days.
• Data Portability: Your daily challenge entries are structured data — request an export by email.
• Withdraw Consent: Revoke camera or photo library permissions at any time via your iOS device settings.
• Opt Out of Analytics: Contact us to opt out of Firebase Analytics data collection.
• Disable Notifications: Turn off reminders in-app or revoke notification permission in iOS Settings.

Data Retention

• Account & Challenge Data: Retained while your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of an account deletion request.
• Progress Photos: Retained in Firebase Storage while your account is active; deleted upon account deletion.
• Crash Reports (Crashlytics): Retained for up to 90 days in identifiable form; then aggregated anonymously.
• Analytics Data: Aggregated, anonymous data retained per Google Analytics for Firebase standard retention policies.

When you request account deletion, we permanently remove your personal data from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by applicable law.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. When we make material changes:

• We will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page.
• We will notify you via an in-app notification or email for significant changes.
• Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
